Fletch: "We didn't get it wrong"

The word of Duncan "Cheeky Chappy" Fletcher:

“Sure, there is a lot of anger, but I could have taken the easy option and stuck with the other players,”

Now, this strikes me as an interesting comment. What exactly would the easy option entail? Is that choosing a team with good players that stand a chance of possibly beating the Australians? We could do that, but that would be too easy. We need to make it hard on our selves, let’s put a hopeless team, and try and win with them. For the next match, we’ll drop Pietersen for Barry Chuckle. That'll make a good hard match there.
